Intarsia Projects - Intarsia-Projekte
Making intarsia is always a challenge.
-

Was meint Ihr?

Looks like a fun project.
How big is it going to be when done and how do you intend to display it?
I can see it as a normal intarsia or a 3D intarsia.
We would be glad to help if you want.

At this point I am thinking 14 x 14 " and I would hang it on the wall. if 3D how would you accomplish that? The Wenge piece I bought is big enough to make up the entire black area. Should I divide it into several sections and then use risers?
Thanks guys

Also, z.B.

These are only ideas and we do not intend to push our agenda.
If you want to hang the project it would be a waste of time to make it 3D as the back would not be seen.
If you did to many changes to it, it would not be a true picture of the governor. That having been said you might want to consider doing it using thinner materials and make a flat picture. We first thought of 1/4" wood stock or colored Baltic Birch Plywood.
Have you ever cut Acrylic plastic or even Floor tiles.
These are only meant as ideas for you to think about. We know that no matter how you choose to make it you will do it justice.
