Segmentation

In contrast to intarsia the pieces are cut from a single slice of wood. The pieces are stained afterwards.

Im Gegensatz zu Intarsia werden bei der Segmentation die einzelnen Teile aus einem Stück Holz gesägt und anschließend eingefärbt.

An deinem Bär gibt es nichts auszusetzen, alles tadellos. :)
Da kannst du dir selber auf die Schulter klopfen.
Um das annähernd so gut hinzubekommen muss ich noch mächtig üben... :S

Das sieht sehr sauber aus.

Auf den ersten Bildern sehen die Sägelinien so aus, als wenn das Sägeblatt der Maserung sprunghaft gefolgt sei. Mir passiert das meistens bei Lärchenholz.

Das Endergebnis ist aber absolut einwandfrei und die Farben sind sehr gut gewählt!

Der Vollständigkeit halber...
Der Bär ist fertig. Ich habe ihn gebeizt und zum Abschluss mit Walnussöl behandelt.
