Okay, hier ist die Idee. Die amerikanische "Titmouse" (umgangssprachlich). Original heißt der Vogel Indianermeise (darum der Federschmuck). Bei dem Licht (und altem Fotoapparat) kommen die Farben nicht gut raus. Ich mach morgen bei Tageslicht noch ein Bild.

Der Name stammt schon aus dem Englischen im 14. Jahrhundert und steht für das Altenglische Wort für Vogel - nämlich Mase, (also Meise) und dem Wort tit, das nur für "klein" steht.

Manchmal heißen sie auch chickadees.

Der Gelbbauchkolibri, mal in ganz anderer Machart. 3mm Flugzeugsperrholz, gesägt mit Pegas MGT 2/0 bestickt mit Baumwollstickgarn. Gestern fiel mir diese Idee wie Schuppen vor die Augen.



Demnächst kriegt der Vogel noch eine Blüte vor den Schnabel. Soll ja bei Kräften bleiben der Kleine mit seinen paar Gramm Lebendgewicht.
