Heute ging es weiter. 2 Stunden
Sommer ist der Name der Empfängerin zum 13. Geburtstag von ihrem Opa Chuck (Küchenstudio-Chuck).
Demnächst wird geschliffen.

Das sieht ja klasse aus Bea. Da wird sich der Opa wohl genauso freuen wie seine Enkelin.

Was sind die Blütenblätter für ein Holz? Ist das Yellowheart oder sonst irgendwas in D schwer erhältliches?
Der Schrift-Stil von "Sommer" (vor allem: das "S") gefällt mir auch sehr gut. Wie heißt die Schrift?

Die Hölzer sind "Rotz-Eder", Walnuss, Wenge, Pappel, unbekannt (Blütenstiel und Blatt), und Tigerwood.

Der gute Opa wollte dann noch einen Schriftzug. Das Papa hier wird nicht wie der deutsche Pap(p)a ausgesprochen, sondern wie English PawPaw (wie hier vielerseits der Opa genannt wird).
Dann habe ich heute erste Schleifversuche unternommen.
