If wine is not you thing try a hot chocolate.

Ronny, ich habe den lat. Namen gegoogelt und die Vermutung, es handelt sich um eine Art von Eisenholz - auf jeden Fall kann es bei Kontakt Hautirritationen auslösen. Vielleicht weiß Fritz oder ein anderes Mitglied etwas mehr.

Thanks everyone for your kind words.
The listing of woods used is only to show what we used and thus goes with the picture. The artist doing an intarsia project should use the woods of their choice or what's available to them. We have seen a lot of our patterns done by other people and we wonder why we didn't think of some of there choices.

Die Liste der verwendeten Hölzer soll nur zeigen, was wir benutzt haben und was man auf dem Foto sieht. Der Künstler, der die Arbeit sägt, sollte die Hölzer seiner Wahl oder die, die ihm zur Verfügung stehen, nutzen. Wir haben viele unserer Vorlagen gesehen, die von anderen gesägt wurden und wir denken oft, warum wir nicht auf die Idee gekommen sind, diese Hölzer auszuwählen.
