In contrast to intarsia the pieces are cut from a single slice of wood. The pieces are stained afterwards.

Scroll mal hoch, dann siehst du er ist schon zusammen
Er ist aus Paulownia und alles ausser den hellen / weissen Teilen ist gebeizt.
