In contrast to intarsia the pieces are cut from a single slice of wood. The pieces are stained afterwards.

Ich verwende 1mm Bohrer von Herrn Platt. Wenn die Teile gebeizt und im Niveau hervorgehoben oder abgesenkt sind, sieht man die Bohrungen nicht mehr. Hatte es auch mit einem 0,8er Bohrer versucht, die Blattstärke (Niqua Speed #3) jedoch nicht mehr durchbekommen bzw. waren nach nach mehrmaligem Durchfädeln zu verbogen.

Danke - Da werde ich dann vorher wohl ein paar Probestücke machen müssen, damit es im Ernstfall dann auch wirklich funktioniert ... Falls ich jemals so ein Teil in Angriff nehmen kann *seufz*.
