Corn decoration was created by Homer_Carol
This is a simple project to decorate your home for the fall season. The corn is cut from highly grained Aromatic red cedar or blue pine. We used 3/4" (19mm) wood and then sliced it into three pieces approx. 1/4" (6.3mm) thick and then stacked them on a wood dowel. The corn husk is Western Red Cedar.

The corn grains were cut from 3/4" (19mm) thick highly grained wood, such as Aromatic Red Cedar, Ponderosa Pine, or Blue Pine. The pattern was glued to the wood and the center was drilled to fit a 1/4" (6.3mm) dowel. The pieces were then cut to approx. 1/4" (6.3mm) and sanded slightly round on the edges. The different rings were then glued to the dowel and the husk was cut and glued in place.

---

We hope this answers your questions and we thank you all of your kind comments.
