Bambus würde ich auch eher ausschließen, da man meist nicht sagen kann, was da für Kleber/Leim/Bindemittel zum Einsatz gekommen ist.

Heimische Hölzer wie Birne oder Kirsche finde ich auch sehr schön, oder Eiche, Nussbaum ...

Leimholz würde ich für "Geräte und Gefäße" die mit Lebensmitteln in Kontakt kommen generell nicht nehmen, Ausnahmen vielleicht Schalen für Nüsse oder so.
