Zur Unterbrechung der Arbeit an Zebra-Streifen habe ich aus der beliebten Rotz-Eder (kleiner Scherz: Rotzeder) und aus Ahorn einen Schmetterling nach einer Zentangle-Vorlage von Ben Kwok gesägt und in kleine Einzelteile zerlegt.
Der Plan ist, die Teile gegeneinander auszutauschen und 2 zweifarbige Schmetterlinge zu verleimen.

Das finde ich eine gute Idee. Schneidest du die Schmetterlinge dann im Stapelschnitt?

Ich schneide die beiden Brettchen als Stapel mit einem ganz feinen Blatt, damit die Teile hinterher gut zusammen passen und auch austauschbar sind.

Das werden super Schmetterlinge. Ich bin zur Zeit leider mit Arbeiten im Freien überladen, und komme kaum in die Werkstatt, allerdings hab ich eine Skulptur von Scrollsaw down under in arbeit. Bilder folgen.
