In contrast to intarsia the pieces are cut from a single slice of wood. The pieces are stained afterwards.

Im Gegensatz zu Intarsia werden bei der Segmentation die einzelnen Teile aus einem Stück Holz gesägt und anschließend eingefärbt.

Die beiden letzten Segmentations-Tiere für heuer sind fertig. Sie waren schon länger fertig, nur für die letzte Ölung fehlte mir die Inspiration.
Da es jetzt wirklich "knapp vor Weihnachten" ist, brauche ich den Platz also...Mohnöl in Massen.
Beide Tiere wieder aus dem schon vorgestelltem Buch.





Habe gesehen, dass die AUgen noch etwas Glanz brauchen

Unser "Luxus-"Problem ist, dass es bei diesem Hobby so viele Möglichkeiten gibt und sooooo viel zu entdecken :lol:

Solange es ein "Luxus"-Problem bleibt ist doch alles in Ordnung. So wird es nicht langweilig und das Oberstübchen ist immer in Beanspruchung. Mir gefällt es jedenfalls immer etwas neues zu entdecken und zu probieren.
