In contrast to intarsia the pieces are cut from a single slice of wood. The pieces are stained afterwards.

Im Gegensatz zu Intarsia werden bei der Segmentation die einzelnen Teile aus einem Stück Holz gesägt und anschließend eingefärbt.

Diesmal habe ich mich mal an eine Rose probiert, die Idee kam aus dem Internet bei acutabove.

Die sägerei war nicht zu schwer, auch dank vielen Tips die ich hier im forum gefunden habe!

Danach war schleifen angesagt, es lebe der dremel!

Zusammen geklebt sah es dann so aus....

Und zum Schluß dann noch mit firnis bearbeitet.

Ein Projekt was richtig spass gemacht hat und in 1 Wochenende locker zu bewältigen ist.

PS. Frag bitte nicht was für Holz ich da habe, ich weiß noch nicht mal wie es in meine Restekiste gelandet ist....

Ich habe die Rose mit Leinöl firnis behandelt und das Holz ist 20 mm dick (ohne Unterlage)

Mit dem Dremel alles schräg geschliffen und per Hand den feinschliff.
