In contrast to intarsia the pieces are cut from a single slice of wood. The pieces are stained afterwards.

Im Gegensatz zu Intarsia werden bei der Segmentation die einzelnen Teile aus einem Stück Holz gesägt und anschließend eingefärbt.

Diese Truhe habe ich für meine Schwester gebaut, sie wird zur Geburt von Zwillingen verschenkt.

Die segmentierten Bären wurde aus einer Malvorlage für Teddybären gemacht und wie meine Schilder auch in einen tief gefrästen Sitz eingeleimt.

Ansonsten ist dieses Onjekt natürlich nicht mit der Dekupiersäge gemacht worden. Sie ist 105x52x50 cm groß.

So langsam arbeite ich mich an die Segmentation/Intarsia Arbeiten heran. Bei den Bären habe ich auch mal einige Abstandhalter (4mm und 6mm) benutzt.













Alles mit Leinöl behandelt, hier nach dem ersten Auftrag. Es folgt ein weiterer Auftrag mit anschließender Politur.

Ein sehr schönes Geschenk, das die Kinder oder die Familie sicher lange begleiten wird. Das ist eine interessante Art, sich an Intarsia heranzutasten :cheer:
