Na das wird ja ein mega Auftrag. Seit ich mit den Intarsia angefangen habe, bekomme ich immer wieder Holz von allen möglichen Leuten.
Da bin ich zur Zeit gut eingedeckt. Und verwendet wird nach Möglichkeit was da ist. So kann eine Sonnenblume schon mal rötlich ( Mahagoni )
werden. Beim Zebra ist allerdings kaum Raum für Individualität.
Ich bin schon sehr gespannt auf deine Arbeit. Schließlich hast du mich zum Intarsia inspiriert.

Ich habe schon überlegt, statt Räuchereiche Nussbaum zu nehmen, aber ehrlich gesagt: Wenn ich so ein großes Projekt herstelle, soll es auch einigermaßen farblich passend sein.

Ich bin auch gespannt und manchmal habe ich ein wenig Schnappatmung, wenn ich an den Anfang denke. Es freut mich, dich inspiriert (oder infiziert ;) ) zu haben. :cheer:

Danke!

Es ist nicht so einfach - vor allem, weil der schwarze Staub des dunklen Holzes sich auf die schwarze Linie legt und auch mit neu positionierter Absaugung geht es nur langsam. Und wenn es dann so gut passt, kriegen meine Ohren beim Grinsen Besuch :laugh:

Solche Schnitte mache ich mit der Feinschnittbandsäge, da gibt es das Problem mit Staub auf der Oberseite nicht. Bei der Deku blase ich den Staub ab und verwende keine Reverse Sägeblätter. Diese fördern doch etwas mehr Staub nach oben.
Aber Hut ab, deine Schnitte sind absolut exakt. Da zeigt sich: Übung macht die "Meisterin", und das meine ich ehrlich so.
